Abstract

Local S7 of the International Association of Machinists, representing 447 administrative and clerical workers at Bath Iron Works, tomorrow will vote on a new, three-year contract that mirrors the one adopted last week by the shipbuilder's largest union. Members of Local S7 have expressed concerns about the contract because of the concept of teaming, which allows BIW to blur the lines between management and labor.
