Abstract

Barbara Brillant, 48, of Brunswick, a nun who works as a nurse practitioner, midwife and health educator, on Thursday is returning to Liberia, where rebels killed five Roman Catholic missionaries who were her friends. The African country has been ravaged by two civil wars in the last five years, and at the beginning of the second one two years ago the five nuns were shot dead outside the capital of Monrovia.
