Abstract

The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Teresio DiMingo, 75, pastor of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church on Portland's Federal Street, will be honored this week on the 50th anniversary of his ordination. Msgr. DiMingo was born May 26, 1886, at Nizza, Italy, and came to the U.S. after studying philosophy in Turin. Bishop John G. Murray of Portland in 1927 asked DiMingo to come to the city to be pastor of St. Peter's. Details.
