Abstract

The Maine Department of Education has chosen School Administrative District 71, comprising schools in Kennebunk and Kennebunkport, and SAD 22, which includes the town of Hampden and surrounding communities, for a pilot program called The Reaffirmation Project. Local task forces at SAD 22 and SAD 71 will work in conjunction with the State Parent Accountability in Education Task Force and the State Religious Institutions Task Force to develop and implement cooperation between schools and community groups.
