Abstract

South Portland's Lyric Theater, located in a former Church of the Nazareen on Sawyer Street in South Portland since 1977, has launced a fund drive to raise $250,000 to repair the run-down building that was constructed in 1977. Among other things, plans call for a new lobby and orchestra pit, a new heating system, and offices for the directors and a room for archives. Details.
