Abstract

President Clinton and dozens of lawmakers yesterday celebrated U.S. Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell's 14-year career in Congress at a fund-raising banquet. The banquet raised money for a scholarship fund in Mitchell's name, and featured remarks by Clinton, Senate Republican leader Bob Dole and Senator William Cohen.
