Abstract

"Maine Voices" piece by C. Edwin Meadows Jr., commissioner of the Maine Department of Conservation; Roger Milliken Jr., president of Bashkahegan Company; Janice McAllister, a selectwoman in Abbot Village; and Jerry Bley, a principal of Creative Conservation. The four, all members of the Northern Forest Lands Council, respond to George Neavoll's September 25 column in the Maine Sunday Telegram dismissing the work of the council as more of the same.
