Abstract

The Maine Attorney General's Office has received a number of inquiries about Classified Directory Publishers, which is currently being investigated by the Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Postal Service on mail fraud charges. The company produces yellow page directories of businesses, but is not affiliated with NYNEX, which produces the only official yellow pages for the Northeast.
