Auto Europe, a fast-growing discount car-rental broker, is leaving its Camden headquarters and relocating in Portland, bringing an estimated 150 jobs and an annual payroll of around $1.2 million. The company, recognized as a leader in its industry, recently purchased the former Campbell, Payson and Noyes building at 27 Pearl Street for a reported $675,000.
