Abstract

The Legislature's Utilities Commission has unanimously recommended a change in the law that will allow Maine utility companies to provide to tenants, landlords or prospective renters or buyers in the state information about a previous resident's electrical usage over the previous year, allowing a comparison of electricity costs prior to buying or renting a dwelling.
