The Business Week 1000, the magazine's annual ranking of corporate market value, had Unum Corp. ranked 238th, up from 318th, with a market value of $3.8 billion. Central Maine Power Co. moved up 13 places to 853rd, with a market value of $748 million, while Hannaford Bros. Co. slipped 170 places to 772nd, with a value of $872 million.
