Abstract

The Maine State Ballet has submitted a conditional bid of $100 to buy the century-old Forest Street School in Westbrook as a home for its 35 dancers and 51-piece orchestra. The ballet company, currently housed on Bishop Street in Portland, also operates the 400-student School of American Dance.
