Abstract

The Maine Senate voted 34-1 to extend the legislative session by five working days, but the House ignored the extension and instead voted 66-49 to return this morning. The deadline for adjournment of this legislative session is Wednesday, but problems deciding on the budget have some anticipating a lengthened session.
