Abstract

Christopher P. Mussenden, 49, of Sarasota, Fla., was sentenced to 33 months in prison and ordered to pay $322,000 in restitution to his victims in a case believed to be the largest securities fraud ever prosecuted in Maine. The former Portland investment advisor bilked more than a dozen Maine retirees out of much of their life savings by abusing his position of trust with his victims.
