Abstract

Consolidate Hydro Maine Inc., which operates the 500-kilowatt Damariscotta Mills hydroelectric plant at the foot of Damariscotta Lake, admitted Tuesday that the plant has contributed to the decline of the region's alewife population. The plant is currently undergoing a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission licensing process.
