Abstract

Catherine and Malcom Heal of Kittery are trying to get the state's obscenity laws strengthened after a neighbor induced their son with candy to watch him masturbate. Since the act took place in the neighbor's yard and he neither had nor solicited physical contact with the boy, no charges could be brought. The couple wants to see the law changed to make it a crime to entice any child onto private property with sexual intent.
