Abstract

Public Citizen, an environmental group, released its Critical Mass Energy Project listing of the 50 commercial nuclear reactors with the worst safety records, and Maine Yankee was on it. The list was based on data from the Nuclear Regulatory Agency collected between 1990 and 1992, and considered the number of reported mishaps, system failures, shutdowns, and violations. Details.
