Abstract

The 71-mile stretch of Route 1 between Bath and Belfast is travelled by 125,000 motorists a day between July and September. The state has budgeted $2 million to ease traffic problems in the area, and non-construction measures such as better traffic signals, signs and minor road changes will be implemented first.
