Abstract

Madison Electric Works, which serves Madison, Anson and parts of Norridgewock and Starks, has selected Northeast Utilities of Hartford, Conn., to supply 45 megawatts of electricity a year through the year 2003. Northeast will charge a wholesale rate of 3.76 cents per kilowatt hour, compared to the 7 cents per kilowatt hour being charged by Central Maine Power Co. Details.
