Abstract

Scores on the SAT test were up nationally for college-bound seniors, to 424 on the verbal test and 478 on the math test, the second straight year test scores improved. Maine's average SAT scores, however, were slightly below the national average, with seniors averaging 422 on the verbal test and 463 on the math test.
