Abstract

Capt. Nikolai Trush, chief officer of the Russian factory ship from which two Ukrainian sailors defected last month, denies allegations that ethnic Russians on the ship abused the Ukrainians. The two Ukrainians are staying in Augusta while they await an asylum hearing which has been scheduled for next month in Boston.
