Abstract

A Maine Department of Education official says that 40 Maine schools and/or districts received grants last year to help pay for strategic planning, and that 150 have applied for grants this year. Falmouth school officials recently created a 22-member steering committee to work on its own strategic plan, and will look at specific areas that might benefit from reform. Details.
