Abstract

The Maine Bureau of Health has released statistics which show that 428 Mainers have been diagnosed with the AIDS virus since 1984, and 209 have died. An estimated 1,500 to 2,000 Mainers are infected with HIV, the virus which causes AIDS. Details.
