Abstract

Reading Recovery is a short, intense method of teaching reading to first-graders who are experiencing difficulties. The program has caught on with educators across the nation, and is spreading rapidly in Maine. More than a thousand educators from Canada and the Northeast will attend a conference on Reading Recovery November 4-6 in Portland. Details.
