Mary K. Shaw, who last week resigned as head of Pepperell Trust Co., refused to say if an investigation by federal regulators led to her departure from the bank. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. in August ordered Pepperell Trust to restructure a loan to Constantine Karvonides, Shaw's brother, and his company, International Marketing Council Inc. Details.
