Abstract

A half-dozen disabled people in wheelchairs, speaking before the Appropriations and Human Resources committees, protested against proposed cuts in funding for home-based care. Their testimony opened a week of hearings on the McKernan administration's proposed cuts in the Department of Human Services budget.
