Abstract

The Friends of the Maine State Museum plan to launch a campaign to raise $33,500 from donors to preserve the state's collection of historic regimental flags and banners. The collection, which features the flags of Maine's famous Civil War regiments, also includes a vintage 1820s Kennebec Guard flag, as well as those of Korean War regiments.
