Abstract

The initial plan of having the Maine Democratic Party sponsor President Clinton's Saturday visit to Portland has been scrapped in favor of sponsorship by the city of Portland and the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Greater Portland. The change was made because the Deering Oaks rally which Clinton will be attending is a public event.
