Abstract

A study done last year by the Maine Bureau of Health indicates that 35 percent of the state's 2-year-olds are not up-to-date on their immunizations. This compares well with other states where as many as 70 percent of toddlers are not vaccinated. A campaign involving doctors, federal aid programs, and parents is under way in Maine and nationally to insure that more children are immunized. Details.
