Abstract

The organization Maine Citizens for The Tax Brake has launched a petition drive to put a referendum on the ballot which would give citizens the right to vote on any state, county or local tax or fee increase. The group must collect 52,308 signatures before January to put the question to the voters in the 1994 general election. Details.
