Abstract

Brief article reporting that state prisoners are helping with the cleanup of John Emerson's tire dump in Durham. Because the state lacks the $1.5 million needed for a complete cleanup of the dump, the prisoners will reconfigure the tire piles to reduce the potential hazard.
