Abstract

Brief article reporting that the federal Department of Transportation on Wednesday waived a new safety regulation prohibiting the transportation of propane by ferries carrying passengers for all Maine Ferry Service vessels. The waiver is effective through April 30, 1994, and does not affect the Casco Bay Island Transit District.
