Paragliding enthusiasts can be found most days sailing off the top of Mt. Waldo near Frankfort, with other favorite locations being Megunticook in the Camden Hills, Pleasant Mountain in Rockport, and Mount Will in Bethel. Extreme-sports participants in Maine running ultramarathons, doing extreme vertical climbs and racing mountain bikes in addition to paragliding and other activities.
