Abstract
Visitors to last weekend's Lobster Festival in Rockland were confronted with the crustacean campaign of the animal-advocacy group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. PETA advocate Mary Tyler Moore placed a full-page ad in the Courier Gazette pleading with readers to stop the death-by-boiling faced by lobsters.
