Abstract
The Maine Council of Senior Citizens last week blasted U.S. represenative James Longley Jr. for his ties to the conservative 60-Plus Association. The organization is currently under investigation by the U.S. Postal Service for its arrangement with consultant Richard Viguerie. The MCSC last week protested in front of Longley's Portland office, and used a steamroller to demonstrate what Republican budget cuts will do to Medicare benefits.
