Abstract
The Houlton Town Council in December passed ordinances banning massage parlors and permitting limited exotic dancing and stripping. Frank Draus received a permit in January to stage the exotic dance shows he has been presenting since 1989 at his dance hall, Club 63/Dance and Eat. Permit in hand, Draus intends to abide by its terms, and has no plans to ante up the $500 to $1,000 in fines that could be assessed for violating the ordinance.
