Abstract

Tourism officials from Greenland last month visited Maine for a week to discover how the state markets, finances and manages tourism. The group, members of the government agency Greenland Tourism, was hosted by Greenland Outfitters of Seal Harbor, which has become a major player in Greenland's economic development. Greenland Outfitters and Greenland Tourism are entering into a joint effort to develop an $80 million, three-star ski resort on Apussuit Glacier in Greenland. Details.
