Abstract
The Maine Legislature's Business and Economic Development Committee is working on finalizing a bill that would establish licensure in Maine for naturopathic physicians. Dr. Devra Krassner of the Maine Association of Naturopathic Physicians said the main benefit of licensure would be the protection of the Maine consumer. The Maine Medical Association is opposed to the bill, particularly with the scope of practice being proposed. Details.
