Abstract

The Maine Supreme Judicial Court has ruled that a woman can recover damages from her divorced husband for the intentional infliction of emotional stress. The court let stand a judgment of $75,000 in compensatory damages and $40,000 in punitive damages that Marie B. Henriksen won from former husband John Malcolm Cameron.
