Abstract
"Voices From The East" piece on "The Eloquent Edge," an anthology of 15 Maine women writers, edited by Margery Irvine and Kathleen Lignell. None of the women writers included in the anthology are originally from Maine. Poet Pat Ranzoni of Bucksport and others have taken issue with Irvine, and what they call the cultural thievery that is being undertaken by transplants to Maine.
