Abstract
Mary B. Gregor, 49, of Hodgdon, was recently sentenced to five months in prison and five months of home detention on federal mail and wire fraud charges. Gregor fraudulently sold land in Aroostook County to at least 36 people, and earned nearly $192,000 on the deals. Gregor was ordered to pay $159,677 in restitution, and will lose 233.5 acres of land on Westford Hill in Hodgdon. Much of the land Gregor had offered for sale belonged to her in-laws and neighbors.
