Abstract
Details on "The Garden in the Sea," a conference held by the Island Institute at the Samoset Resort in Rockland. The conference featured a few dozen academics discussing the merger of technology and fishermen's at-sea wisdom. Ted Ames, director of marine resources at the Island Institute, is currently involved in the second year of a project designed to determine the most suitable areas of Maine's inshore marine waters for the restoration of cod and haddock populations.
