Abstract
Children's book author Margy Burns Knight's latest book is "Talking Walls, The Stories Continue," illustrated by Anne Sibley O'Brien. The book is about walls and the things they do to separate and celebrate people. The Apple Valley bookstore in Winthrop asked Knight if she would do a book signing, and she asked if the bookstore would help get a picture painted. Several hundred children and adults joined community artist Natasha Mayers to paint a 48-foot mural on the wall of Winthrop's Downeast Pharmacy. Details.
