Abstract
"Music" piece on The Bay Chamber Concerts, held at the Rockport Opera House. Mary Louise Curtis, founder of the Curtis Institute of Music, started the Institute's summer program in Rockport in the 1920s. The summer sessions were discontinued in the 1940s, but started up again as The Bay Chamber Concerts in 1961. The Rockport Opera House underwent major renovation in 1991, and is now considered one of the finest performance facilities anywhere.
