Abstract
Duane Fitzgerald, Dana Connors and Alan Caron last week quit as consultants for DeCoster Egg Farms of Turner, sayin owner Austin J. DeCoster was unwilling to make changes at the facility. Attorney Harold Pachios had departed earlier. A boycott against DeCoster eggs, announced after the company was fined by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration, has had little impact on egg sales because of strong export sales to Asia. William Bell of the Maine Poultry Federation said work and production at DeCoster Egg Farms have continued uninterrupted.
