Abstract
The state Revisor of Statutes Office, where legislative bill requests are changed into official-looking documents, received 1,300 bill proposals by the December 20 deadline. Revisor of Statutes Margaret Matheson said 2,300 bill requests have been filed, including the 1,300 from December 13 and December 20. Matheson said the proposals range in form from an idea scratched out on the back of an envelope to a hard-copy-and-disk package.
