Abstract
NAP Breton Inc. of Canada plans to purchase 25 acres in Township 17 Range 5 for a 3,000-pig hog finishing farm. Malachi Anderson, member of the Maine Land Use Regulation Commission, helped to kill a proposed ban on development in selected areas of the unorganized territories and has repeatedly opposed any new zoning in the North Woods. Anderson is concerned about the NAP Breton proposal and wants LURC to get involved in the controversy. Details.
