Abstract

Transportation Demand Management combines carpool and vanpool programs, allowing employees to work at home, four-day workweeks and at satellite offices, while decreasing traffic congestion and air pollution. Two proponents of the program were in Maine to promote the innovative approach to transportation, which they say can result in up to a 25 percent increase in employee productivity. Details.
