Abstract

Harley Lee, president of Endless Energy of New Gloucester, is interested in pursuing the Boundary Mountain wind power project proposed by Kenetech Windpower. Kenetech filed for bankruptcy last year after winning support for the project from Maine Audubon, the Natural Resources Council of Maine and the Conservation Law Foundation. Lee doesn't envision the 639 towers proposed by Kenetech, and says the biggest challenge to the project is selling the power. Endless Energy has measured wind potential at 13 sites in Maine.
