Abstract

James River of Richmond, Va., has announced plans to sell more than 300,000 acres of Maine timberland to Hancock Timber Resource Group, a subsidiary of John Hancock Financial Services of Boston. James River will continue to own or manage 275,000 acres of land in Maine.
